This cute 4BR-1BA home is super-close to a gorgeous beach and all sorts of outdoor, cultural, eating + drinking spots. Relaxing on the back patio deck or by the firepit, or lounging inside in cozy comfort, the Aloha Beach House has a solid vacay vibe. All 3 BRs have beach-style decor, and with the shore + Indiana Dunes nearby, we provide essentials galore! The kitchen has modern appliances and a breakfast nook. Plus w/ 3 flat-screen TVs and Bluetooth speakers, your indoor pleasure is guaranteed!

THE SPACE
With the interior decor being centered around a beach-life theme, the living room-kitchen-dining room area invite you to relax and be comfortable, whether on a cushy couch watching a movie, or gathering for a meal, snack or drink at the breakfast nook or more formal dining table. The kitchen is equipped with stainless-steel appliances, stone-top counters and all the essentials you need to prepare delicious meals, as well as a Keurig and pods to get you going each morning. You’ll find we’ve got you covered for indoor entertainment, too, with several big-screen TV's, high-speed internet and Bluetooth speakers.

Each of the 4 bedrooms has extra-comfortable, high-quality mattresses and linens, plus they’re all stylishly accessorized with beach-themed décor. Cute and cozy, all the way!

The Aloha House full bathroom is nicely appointed and features a bathtub and shower, and single vanity. Also, there’s a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Outdoors you'll find a custom wooden deck with gas grill, patio table and umbrella, comfy lounge furniture and Adirondack chairs wrapped around a cool firepit. Anyone up for a hot cocoa and some stargazing in front of a fire? The fenced yard also has a nice lawn for kids to play on. Given you’ll very likely be wanting to visit the beach, we provide you with a cooler, beach umbrella, wagon, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. Please feel free to reach out with questions or for any special requests. Since the Aloha Beach House is so centrally located—close to a wide variety of outdoor activities, restaurants, watering holes, nightlife spots, shops, boutiques and galleries for you and your guests to explore and enjoy—we’ll mention a number of highlights here, but we’re sure you’ll discover there are countless options to choose from! Besides being just 45 miles east of Chicago, Michigan City—where Aloha Beach House is located—is noted for both its bordering Lake Michigan and proximity to Indiana Dunes National Park. You’ve got magnificent stretches of shoreline, windswept sand dunes and hiking trails galore (with your choice from easy to moderate to rugged, most being open year-round, many with public bathrooms) virtually a stone’s throw away. And by the way, the Indiana Dunes “park” is not just heralded for its beautiful beaches and sand dunes, but it’s also one of the most biodiverse national parks in the U.S.—with grassy trails, marshes and dense forests—making it a hiking and birdwatching paradise!

Local farms, vineyards and wineries offer tours to see and sample the products they grow to supply neighboring fine restaurants and cafes, craft brew pubs, wine shops and cocktail bars. Speaking of which, there are dozens of these to check out, all in the nearby vicinity of Aloha Beach House. And less than 10 miles away, you can also enjoy the many water-related and boating activities afforded by the region’s largest recreational harbor, including boat, kayak and canoe rentals, day and evening cruises, fishing expeditions and so much more. And besides the numerous local antique shops, boutiques and distinguished art galleries, you can also wander through Friendship Botanic Gardens (a short walk away) or the Old Lighthouse Museum in Michigan City’s Uptown Arts District.

To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to participate in a guest prescreening. All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

For guests that would like to bring pets we agree that pets are part of the family, and we welcome up to 2 dogs here. All pets must be authorized at time of booking - email us immediately for pet approval if you plan to bring a pet. Please be aware that there are feral cats in the barn that we feed on a regular basis.

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
