Bear Ranch

This was our third year at Sundrop. Our extended family (ten adults and 12 children) keep coming back and the experience gets better every year. The accommodations are extremely comfortable, clean and well maintained. Everything needed to cook for our group (except food) was thought of and provided in the well-equipped main and back kitchen. The amenities are so extensive and created multiple gathering places for us during our week stay. The pool, hot tubs, turf with soccer goals, pool table, ping pong table, fire pit, indoor and outdoor eating and seating spots, large screen TV's both up and downstairs for movie night (one for the kids, one for the adults,). The list goes on. The large property has trails throughout for biking and walking. We never had to leave the "compound" and always had something to do. Any question or need was answered almost instantaneously. Sundrop is now an important family tradition that we all look forward to and no one would even think of missing. The

Perfect for my group of active friends. We spent lots of time on the playing field out back throwing frisbee, football, and had a few soccer matches. The pool was great and the list of activities in the house from ping pong to rummikub was expansive. Everyone thought it was 5 stars and had a blast. Thanks Dwell!

We had a group of just under 25 and had an incredible time at Sundrop. The property/home is beautiful, comfortable and more than adequate for a group of our size. We have been doing this over NYE for 10+ years and never have we had a place so well equipped. We cook big meals and this place didn’t disappoint…you’ll leave wanting your own second catering kitchen by the time you leave. Communication with the managers was quick and easy and pretty much all we needed was provided. Would absolutely return.

The house is terrific! As described and pictured, and outfitted in so many ways (like that catering kitchen!) that worked to facilitate our stay. Further, the pool was a great hit with all family members. All in all, a great experience!

We had a reunion and our family loved how spacious it was! There was plenty of space outdoors for everyone to hang out and enjoy as well. This would be a great property to enjoy during the summer with the pool and all. On that note with it being such a large, spacious, beautiful home and in a more remote area, wish we had access to an alarm system for piece of mind. This wasn’t a huge favor though, would definitely return. Food options were also difficult to find for our large group in the area so I’d plan to bring and cook in house in the future! Plenty of kitchen spaces to utilize. Thank you to our host for also checking in daily. Very accommodating and responsive.

This property was spacious, well stocked and clean for our stay. With 19 guests it was the perfect place to feel secluded and all have our own space! The hosts were responsive and helpful. Definitely will consider a second visit!

The property was perfect for our extended family. The house was clean and most everything was in order. One fridge and the icemaker was not working but there were three other refrigerators (!) and we the property manager provided bags of ice. Communication was great. Highly recommended property.

We stayed here with 15 family members for Thanksgiving. The house is exceptional. It was absolutely perfect to accommodate a large group. There was ample cooking space and eating space and hanging out space. Honestly - just perfect!

We had a wonderful time hosting a womens retreat at the Sundrop Property!! This is the third Dwell Property home I have stayed in and every single one is incredibly luxurious and accomodating. The private chef was so complimentary of the kitchen setup. The beds and linens are so comfortable and each room was so well thought out. The main living area is so cozy. We happened to have a huge snow storm during our stay so we kept the fire going and it created such a wonderful atmosphere for our guests. Jorge and Penny are extremely accomodating and so wonderful to work with. We look forward to hosting another retreat this April at a Dwell Property.

We knew our stay at the Sundrop would be special, but the home far exceeded our expectations and was the most beautiful and comfortable setting for a weekend away. Every detail is thought out so perfectly to ensure guests can easily use everything - from the pool and hot tubs, to the catering kitchen, to the rec room in the basement, and more. The amenities were a dreamy highlight and the bedding was incredible. Thank you to Dwell for taking such wonderful and meticulous care of the Sundrop, we all hope to visit again in the very near future!

32 of us stayed at Sundrop and loved every minute of it. The house is extremely clean and well kept. There were plenty of rooms and beds for our crew. The best was the bedroom above the garage, it was quiet and removed. The pool and hot tubs were excellent. The only thing we felt was missing were nice large serving platters, pretty much everything else was there. We are already planning our return visit. Thanks so much for an excellent stay.

This house made our reunion of MBA classmates one for the books! It was a rare case of the home being better than the pictures. Check-in was a breeze and the managers were incredibly easy to communicate with. The house was so incredibly well stocked, from amenities (hot tubs, soccer field, deck, grills, pool) to activities (DisneyPlus, plentiful games and puzzles, billiards and ping pong tables) to the the kitchen (multiple coffeemakers, ovens, sinks, and more! Seriously better stocked than my own kitchen!)... it was like the property took on a life of its own in bringing us together to enjoy the weekend. This house is the epitome of all the little ways that vacation homes/managers could invest just a few more dollars and a little more thoughtfulness to eliminate all the friction points of traveling and staying somewhere new. They had thought of it all and then some, and it made for a flawlessly relaxing experience. We couldn't ask for more and will definitely recommend this property to our friends! Worth every penny.

Our group was blown away with this home! The house was SO clean and nicely decorated! Everyone kept raving about how well it was decorated, had all the kitchen supplies needed, and how clean it was! All of the beds were so comfortable. We so enjoyed our stay here and cant wait to come back!

From the first moment we booked the house until we checked out on Sunday, our experience with this house and organization was truly incredible. We plan a 16-person trip every year, and each year we stay in a different location. In our 15 years doing these trips, Sundrop was truly one of our best experiences. The management group thinks of everything, is incredibly prompt in responding to questions before and during the trip, and the property itself is AMAZING. 11 out of 10. Can't say enough about it.

This is a spectacular and special property! The 40 acres for nature walks filled with beautiful deer, and excellent house amenities was a perfect home for our four families for a perfectly memorable week of vacation! I can’t say enough good things about this property. The pool, Astro turf soccer field, pool table, ping pong table, several tv’s and theatre room complete with video and board games, Three new refrigerators, two full kitchens and a very large butlers pan free with the stones, dual dishwashers. Excellent choices of bedrooms with many different bedding options, including trundle beds . Quality construction home and very well appointed. Anytime we had a question for anything it was handled immediately by the staff. The pool and two hot tubs are heated and glorious. The two grills and smoker a wonderful addition to make things smoothly. Two large dining areas are enough to accommodate 30 people eating at the same time. Well worth the money. The money will pass but the memories will remain forever. Thank you and we will see you again soon.
