Chalet Unit #29 is part of the iconic Chalet on the Lake resort, set within the charming A-frame community and just a short walk to Lake Michigan. This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom chalet sleeps up to six guests and is available for year-round stays. Guests enjoy access to the resort’s popular amenities, including sandy beaches, three swimming pools, sports courts, beach volleyball, playgrounds, scenic ponds, and open green spaces.

THE SPACE
Chalet #29 features a warm and inviting layout with classic wood interiors and comfortable gathering spaces. The main living area includes ample seating, a TV, and sliding glass doors that lead to a spacious outdoor deck, offering a great place to enjoy fresh air and views of the surrounding resort grounds. A dining area provides room for shared meals and game nights, while the fully equipped kitchen makes cooking at home easy. Upstairs, two bedrooms offer flexible, family friendly sleeping arrangements, making this chalet well suited for families or groups traveling together. A full bathroom with a walk-in shower is located on the main level for added convenience.

Two dedicated parking spaces are included for convenient arrivals and unloading. Please note that this home does not have a washer or dryer, though a nearby laundromat is available.

Chalet on the Lake is a private lakefront community with wide views of Lake Michigan and a long-standing, family-friendly atmosphere. Guests have access to shared amenities that include three pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, shuffleboard, a beach volleyball court, and quiet pond areas. Spend your days exploring golden Lake Michigan beaches, boutique wineries, craft breweries, and farm-to-table restaurants that define the region’s coastal charm. Nearby St. Joseph and New Buffalo offer vibrant shopping, galleries, and seasonal festivals, while local trails, nature preserves, and orchards invite peaceful outdoor adventures.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.

All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party, up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
