County Line Cabin is a refined woodland retreat set on 10 private acres in Watervliet, complete with its own serene pond, dock, firepit, and sweeping lawn framed by towering trees. Inside, soaring wood-beam ceilings and a dramatic stone fireplace define the open living space, while warm timber finishes create an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and inviting. This 2BD, 2BA escape is crafted for effortless gatherings, restorative downtime and golden-hour moments with family and friends.

THE SPACE
County Line Cabin’s living room opens to a dramatic great room wrapped in warm timber and soaring vaulted ceilings. A gorgeous floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace grabs your attention right when you walk through the door and sets the tone for relaxed evenings on the leather sofa or quiet moments in the rocking chair. The open dining area flows seamlessly into a fully stocked kitchen thoughtfully appointed with cookware, coffee essentials, and everything needed to prepare and share meals together.
Retreat to beautifully designed sleeping spaces where warm wood tones and layered textures create a peaceful yet elevated atmosphere. The upper-level signature suite offers a private retreat with king bed beneath dramatic vaulted ceilings, while the lower-level guest room is perfectly arranged for families or friends, complete with 2 full bunk beds and a dedicated table workspace.

Both bathrooms continue the cabin’s warm timber aesthetic, offering bright, clean spaces with walk-in showers and nice storage. The upper-level ensuite is privately connected to the signature suite, creating a seamless and restful retreat. On the lower level, a second full bathroom is conveniently located across from bedroom 2 and just beside the dedicated laundry room where a full-size washer and dryer make longer stays effortless and comfortable.

Outside you’ll discover spaces designed for slow mornings and sunset evenings. Relax in a rocking chair on the covered front porch or settle into the charming porch swing and sway gently as the breeze moves through the trees. Gather around the patio table for al fresco dining, unwind by the fire pit beneath the pines, or lounge by the peaceful private pond with its dock and bench swing. Whatever the season, County Line Cabin’s setting invites you to relax and linger a little longer outdoors.

Located in the heart of Southwest Michigan, County Line Cabin offers peaceful seclusion while remaining just minutes from some of the region’s most loved destinations. Enjoy a short drive from the beaches of St. Joseph, Michigan and South Haven, Michigan, explore local wineries along the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail, browse charming shops and cafés in Watervliet and Coloma, Michigan, or visit seasonal farm stands and orchards.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
You may hear the cabin settle with an occasional creak or pop, especially during changing weather or windy conditions. It’s normal and one of the many joys of staying in an authentic log cabin.

To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.

All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

We welcome up to one dog at this home at no additional charge. Please include your dog in the reservation details or let our team know after booking.  

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
