Description Description
The High Life has been newly renovated, and upon walking in, you’ll immediately be swept up by the elegant styling and open design of the interior space, which includes a gorgeous living room, dining room, and Family Room (affectionately called the Hearth Room), as well as a superb modern kitchen.

Highlighted by great natural lighting and window views of the woods, the entire social space is inviting and warm. Speaking of which, the Hearth Room beckons to all with its vaulted ceilings, lovely fireplace, and stylish furnishings, with all sorts of comfy seating options – plus a Smart flat-screen TV with Apple TV. We regularly hear it’s one of our guests’ favorite spots to relax and unwind together. And since we’re talking about entertainment, there’s also a record player and popular albums available for all to enjoy, along with a Bluetooth sound system.

The metro-style dining room is perfect for sharing meals together, and the roomy modern kitchen features high-end stainless-steel appliances and has all the essentials you need for whipping up some tasty vacation meals. Have at it! There’s also a super-cool screened porch with cushy rattan furniture where you can bring a delicious beverage and marvel at being surrounded by some of the Midwest’s most majestic woods.

All of the bedrooms in The High Life are comfy and stylishly decorated, and we use only premium-quality bedding and linens to ensure you and your guests get a superb night’s sleep. Each bedroom also has plenty of storage space. The Primary Bedroom has a Smart flat-screen TV with Apple TV, plus access – through a sliding glass door – to the screened-in porch.

SLEEPING CONFIGURATION
Primary Bedroom: 1 queen bed
Bedroom 2: 1 queen bed
Bedroom 3: Bunk beds – 1 full bed + 1 single bed

The Primary Bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with a tile vanity, and both bathrooms are nicely appointed with stylish fixtures and décor. Plus, there’s a high-quality washer and dryer in the basement laundry room – with essential laundry supplies – for all your laundering needs.

Once outside The High Life, you’ll be captivated by how nature’s beauty surrounds you on all sides. The wooded property is lush and varied, offering many ways to enjoy it! The large back deck is a prime gathering spot, where you and your guests can sip a favorite drink, either during the day or at night – there’s custom café and deck lighting to set a wonderful evening mood whenever you like. You can choose from a sweet outdoor dinette set with an umbrella or super-comfy outdoor chairs to relax in. There’s also a nice firepit for when you want to chill out around a fire and look up at the stars. And if anyone wants to slowly drift off in a hammock, we’ve got you covered there, too. The good-sized backyard is fenced, so kids can run around and play in a safe atmosphere. And being pet-friendly, your furry friend can enjoy the great outdoors with you, too! (Just be sure to let us know about your pet in advance.) We’d also like to mention that there’s a shed in the backyard filled with cool stuff you’re welcome to use, including cruiser bikes and helmets, a kayak and life jackets, plus various games and sports items. Oh, and there’s also a Tesla EV charger available for any guest who might want to use it.

Besides being located in a super-serene neighborhood in New Buffalo, one highly desirable feature of The High Life is that you’re just a short walk from not one, but two excellent parks – where you can find tennis courts, basketball courts, pickleball and volleyball facilities, a great kids’ playground, and a 9-hole golf course! Additionally, besides being close to the many popular restaurants, galleries, and boutique shops of downtown New Buffalo, you’re just a short distance from a number of truly majestic, crystal-sand Lake Michigan beaches! Plus, you can enjoy the many activities afforded by being a stone’s throw from the region’s largest recreational harbor – including boat and other watercraft rentals, fishing expeditions, and day or evening cruises – as well as all sorts of woodland, lake, and riverside parks with hiking and biking trails galore.

Lest we forget to mention it, the stunning Warren Dunes State Park is nearby, with its 2,000 acres of amazing sand dunes, beachfront, wetland trails, and extraordinary birdwatching! You and your guests might also enjoy visiting New Buffalo’s Oselka Park, which has baseball fields, playground equipment, and tennis courts. For even more variety, nearby Union Pier also has a number of great restaurants, coffee shops, and breakfast spots. Plus, being so centrally located, there are plenty of nearby fun activities to keep you busy during your vacation, including:
• Multiple public Lake Michigan beaches
• Local breweries
• Local wineries
• Art galleries
• Antique shops
• Golf courses
…and more!

Overall fine. Sand on the floors and wet laundry in drier at check in give the impression turn over cleaning was hap hazard. Carpet at the bottom of stair and the basement itself smell of mold that fills the house. Toilet in master bath is loose.

We love visiting friends who live in Harbor Country close by in Grand Beach & Lakeside, but we wanted a place for our 14 year old dog, Libby to have a beautiful yard all to herself. We all loved the beautiful outdoor haven. It was a perfect retreat for all! We hope to be back this summer. Enjoyed the firepit and grilling out, too! Cheers!

I rent a place for my family every 4th of July, having grown up in Grand Beach. We felt this was the best home for family fun and togetherness we've rented so far. We had a dog, infant and toddler in tow. Loved the openness and the easy layout both inside and out. Our dog loved the fenced yard to chase squirrels. The Deck kept the little ones in a manageable play space while we were cooking or hanging up bathing suits to dry.The wide open front yard was perfect for chasing my grandchildren and catching fireflies. The firepit in the yard was fantastic. We made S'mores and lit my grandson's first sparklers. The kitchen was perfect size and had everything you may need. The grill outside was super fun and aw used it a bunch. We never went to a restaurant in the week we stayed, which we never did before. The air conditioning--on the hottest weekend of the year--was icy if we wanted. We actually had to turn it warmer because it worked so well! That doesn't seem like a big deal, but it can be. We would love to return to Juniper to make more memories again and again.

The property was well maintained and tidy. We enjoyed the outdoor spaciousness of the property and the quiet neighborhood. The house had a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed our short family time together.
