Our family had a wonderful time at the Moose House! The pool and clubhouse were available every day, and most of our 2 week stay we had the pool to ourselves. The nearby park and walking trail were also great for families of all ages to enjoy. Some of us enjoyed walking to town too. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances and two washers and dryers. Our family included babies and toddlers and we had the room for all to enjoy. The Juniper Holiday and Home staff was very responsive to our few requests, and they were quickly responsive to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house and location were lovely. There were 12 of us, yet there was space for us all to gather for meals and games, yet plenty of rooms for those who needed some quiet time. We all love to cook, so we really appreciated the fact that the cookware and knives were in good shape. We had both cool temps and scorching heat, and we were able to find activities to accommodate both. The staff at Juniper was delightful to work with. They responded rapidly to all of our inquiries, and the maintenance crew went above and beyond. I would not hesitate to book with Juniper again.

We had two families with five kids under five and had a wonderful getaway to kick of the new year. Great time using the hot tub, fire pit for s'mores, movie theater room, and playing games by the fire. Owners were very commmunicative and helpful! You do have to go through two bedrooms to get to other parts of the house- which is quirky but was not an issue for us at all. There's a playground in walking distance which was also great. Loved exploring New Buffalo- had great dining experiences at Postboy, The Stray Dog, and Journeyman Distillery in nearby Three Oaks. Would totally return!

We had two families with five kids under five and had a wonderful getaway to kick of the new year. Great time using the hot tub, fire pit for s'mores, movie theater room, and playing games by the fire. Owners were very commmunicative and helpful! You do have to go through two bedrooms to get to other parts of the house- which is quirky but was not an issue for us at all. There's a playground in walking distance which was also great. Loved exploring New Buffalo- had great dining experiences at Postboy, The Stray Dog, and Journeyman Distillery in nearby Three Oaks. Would totally return!

I'll start with the good: The house has enough bedrooms to have had our family come and spend some time with us on vacation and not be all on top of each other. Loved the pool access. Did not appreciate that the listing for the house is for 14 people but you could only have 10 people at the pool. We absolutely LOVED the theater room. It was so fun to watch shows and movies in there. The house was in a great location. We loved the firepit and the sticks for marshmallow roasting that were provided were great. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The not so good: For being a premium listing, the house was not as clean as I would have expected. The fridge was straight up dirty. The counters in the kitchen were dirty. We had to clean ourselves when we got there. There were crumbs on the ground and fingerprints on all the appliances and windows. And dust and cobwebs throughout the entire house. Luckily we found the bedding to be clean, which was my main concern. But it was disappointing to have a dirty kitchen and dusty house for the amount of money you pay to stay here. We were supposed to have two bundles of wood upon arrival, but there was no wood. I emailed the property company and got a response that said the wood was in the garage. This was confusing as the garage was all locked up and we had no access. After back & forth, they did drop off wood two days later.

I rented out the house to celebrate my 40th birthday with 12 of my closest friends, and we were blown away! Plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing, both inside and outdoors. The property had everything we needed, and the service was impeccable. We were missing our starter bundles of firewood, so our agent personally delivered some! Due to the time of year we couldn't access the pool, but we put the hot tub and fire pit to use every night. The only detail that folks should be aware of is the bedroom situation. The MIL suite is accessed through one of the bedrooms, and the theatre room and game room are accessed through a bedroom on the lower level. If you're travelling with a big group, you'll need to be thoughtful about who sleeps where. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better weekend retreat, and I hope to return soon!

We stayed at the Moose House as a group for our corporate retreat. The house layout was very accommodating for 6 adults. The hosts were very responsive, polite and a joy to work with. We appreciated the local restaurant recommendations. The rooms were well appointed with all the toiletries needed and the kitchen was extremely well stocked for entertaining. Would hands-down recommend this location for family vacations and corporate retreats!

"There were 7 of us for a girls getaway. There was plenty of space for us to stretch out and get cozy. Our favorite area was the movie theater space on the lower level. We were blown away at the home theater experience. The outside area was really nice for building a fire, the hot tube was filled, warm and ready to use. There were huge towels available for use. Our initial plan was to explore the area more, but once we arrived at the house, we didn't really want to leave. We finally peeled ourselves off the couches and went to the beach nearby and explored the area. The host was extremely responsive, upon our arrival I had several questions. They responded immediately with answers to my questions. Check in and out was easy. Once I left, I realized I had left something. They immediately found it and sent it back to me. We will be back!!!"

Many comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and a kitchen ideal for cooking for a large group. We enjoyed the large hot tub and fenced in backyard. The property being pet friendly was a BIG plus. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and beginner spices and oils. This property has definitely been invested in and it shows. Also the place was spotless - kept very clean. Only 5 minute drive to the lake. Sits in a quiet community. Very safe feeling area. Heat worked great for it being November in Michigan. Only note is I wish there was a large enough kitchen table for our party to sit at. It only sat 6 people and there were 11 of us. Also it's worth noting that you have to walk through some of the bedrooms to access other bedrooms - good for kids or friends who are comfortable with each other but only 3 of the bedrooms have independent entries (this wasn't a problem for us, and would stay here again).

The neighborhood was nice, quiet and felt very safe, plus is a great location close to restaurants and bars in downtown New Buffalo. We would definitely consider staying here again!

The neighborhood was nice, quiet and felt very safe, plus is a great location close to restaurants and bars in downtown New Buffalo. We would definitely consider staying here again!

We had a group of 8 adult friends staying at the property and we were so happy with our stay. The home is beautiful and was very clean. All the rooms and beds we super cozy and comfortable with nice furniture and decor. There was plenty of space for the 8 of us. A couple highlights were the awesome huge home theater and the hot tub which was the perfect temperature! The neighborhood was nice, quiet and felt very safe, plus is a great location close to restaurants and bars in downtown New Buffalo. We would definitely consider staying here again!

The Wolf Lodge is amazing! The floor plan is ideal for a large family group. Everyone had private space but still felt cozy in the open living/dining/kitchen. Two of the bedrooms had walk throughs to other areas which is a bit odd, but no problem for us. The movie theater was amazing!! Especially for our winter trip... AND we were there on Super Bowl Sunday which was cool! If I could improve one thing, it would be the mattresses. Most are older, sagging and/or squeaky, otherwise this was a 5-star experience!!!

We recently stayed and had a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful and well-kept. Very comfortably sleeps several adults/couples with multiple full baths and plenty of space. Even though we stayed in the winter, we really enjoyed the outdoor space (hot tub especially) and the fenced in area which was great for our dogs. The hosts are extremely responsive. Would absolutely stay again!

So many bedrooms and bathrooms, this can easily house two families, maybe even three depending on how close you are. There is a bedroom on the first floor for those with mobility issues that do not want to climb up or down the stairs. There is a private bedroom in the basement, as well as an entire separate unit (with kitchenette) in the back on the second floor, for those that want to separate themselves from the main space. The theater room is great, instructions were easy to follow to turn everything on and off. The outdoor space looked really nice (we only used the grill; couldn't sit around b/c it was snowing). Kitchen was well-equipped in terms of appliances and utensils. Give your plates/utensils a rinse before using, though, as we found that mugs and bowls had some dirt or dust. Basic spices and such are available. Huge fridge and freezer. Fireplace was really great to use. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!
