The Moose House

What a fantastic house and awesome location! Just a short drive or even stroll away from the beach. The pool was right outside the gate of the house, with a big pool house, games, ping pong and a big refrigerator to use so you can just hang at the pool for a while. The spa, fire pit, and movie theater in the basement of the house were all superior bonuses! All of the beds were comfortable, and the kitchens and bathrooms were all lovely and updated. All of our requests and questions were addressed right away, so if something isn’t working - it will get fixed.
It is one of the nicest homes we’ve ever stayed in for our Michigan trips! We had 14 adults, and it was an absolute blast for our 3 day stay. Don’t forget to go to oinks for ice cream.!! We will be back!! Thank you for hosting our family!

This is the first of hopefully many annual vacations for our family, adult children, their spouses and children. The moose house was great. In itself it was an explorer. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and dormer closets extra fun for children. The kitchen was great. Lots of dishes, pots and pans to use. We cooked in every night. There were nine of us with two babies. The clubhouse and pool are one minute away. Unexpectedly nice clean and fun. Communication with the location manager was absolutely excellent. Any query or assistance I needed it was addressed immediately. Really liked having that comfort. If you go into town or the beach, Everything is very close and new Buffalo is a sweet clean and family friendly place. Just like the moose house. Thank you.

I rented out the house to celebrate my 40th birthday with 12 of my closest friends, and we were blown away! Plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing, both inside and outdoors. The property had everything we needed, and the service was impeccable. We were missing our starter bundles of firewood, so our agent personally delivered some! Due to the time of year we couldn't access the pool, but we put the hot tub and fire pit to use every night. The only detail that folks should be aware of is the bedroom situation. The MIL suite is accessed through one of the bedrooms, and the theatre room and game room are accessed through a bedroom on the lower level. If you're travelling with a big group, you'll need to be thoughtful about who sleeps where. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better weekend retreat, and I hope to return soon!

We loved our stay at this New Buffalo home. We were a group of 12 (5 adults, 7 kids/teens) and had plenty of space to spread out and relax. Kids and teens loved the theater, hot tub, and fire pit. The short distance to the town area of NB and the beach was great. Best part of our stay was the community pool shared by just a few houses, directly behind this rental house. The pool was very clean and well maintained, with nice lounge chairs and tables, some sun and some shade. We enjoyed the outdoor dining areas too, and made use of the kitchen for all our meals.

The house is well maintained and the outdoor areas were fabulous. We all enjoyed the firepit and hot tub and the community swimming pool was only steps away down the hill. The location was secluded yet close enough to town to walk (a good stretch of the legs). It was an easy 2 block walk to Redamak's - the best burger place ever.

What an incredible home! The home exceeds the listing! So clean and comfortable and the movie theater was a HUGE hit with the family! Super easy instructions to utilize all the great amenities! Fabulous backyard, well stocked kitchen supplies and the community pool is basically in the backyard! We had it all to ourselves. We couldn’t have had a nicer stay! Juniper is super responsive and even let us check in early! We’ll be back!

Centrally located in New Buffalo, this property has it all for a group of family or friends. It’s walkable to restaurants and brew pubs and even the beach. On property, the special amenities such as community pool, theatre room, fire pit and hot tub make Moose Lodge a gem. Property was very clean. We have stayed at several air bnbs and I can say this was my favorite. Why? The movie theatre, hot tub, fire pit, enclosed fence for dogs and kids, nothing-missing kitchen, tv’s in every bedroom, professionally decorated interior, the list is long. And Juniper was beyond great. Very friendly and responsive. Will always look for their properties when renting.

The property is spectacular and offered so many amenities for our young family. We enjoyed the plush movie theatre, s'mores at the fire pit, as well as relaxed in the hot tub. A wonderful Spring Break getaway.
The home is plenty spacious which made for a good night's sleep for all. The kitchen was the perfect gathering spot and offered high-end appliances. I very much appreciated the home's aesthetic / design / decor throughout --- luxe, yet comfortable. Solid attention to detail.
We hope to be back during the summer months to be able to access the community pool and spend more time outside.

Booked this beautiful house for my boyfriends birthday with a group of our friends for the weekend. It’s perfect for a big group of people, everyone got their own rooms & it was so big & spacious. Everything was super clean & the minute we walked in it was extremely homey. Already talked about coming back to this exact home in the summer, we all loved it. The hot tub was definitely one of my favorites and also cooking all together in that beautiful kitchen. Loved it all & definitely going to book again here! Many comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and a kitchen ideal for cooking for a large group. We enjoyed the large hot tub and fenced in backyard. The property being pet friendly was a BIG plus. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and beginner spices and oils. This property has definitely been invested in and it shows. Also the place was spotless - kept very clean. Only 5 minute drive to the lake. Sits in a quiet community. Very safe feeling area. Heat worked great for it being November in Michigan. Only note is I wish there was a large enough kitchen table for our party to sit at. It only sat 6 people and there were 11 of us. Also it's worth noting that you have to walk through some of the bedrooms to access other bedrooms - good for kids or friends who are comfortable with each other but only 3 of the bedrooms have independent entries (this wasn't a problem for us, and would stay here again).

Our group of 5 had an amazing time here! The house was well appointed and in an ideal location. The highlight for us was the home theater, where we enjoyed kicking back and watching a few movies on the big screen. We loved the place so much that we didn’t want to stray far from the house, and the lovely community swimming pool was a great substitute for hauling ourselves all the way to the beach. Highly recommend this place!!

We had a great 3 day family vacation with our 3 adult children, their spouses and 3 grand children. The is plenty of space with the four bedrooms and the mother-in-law rooms with an additional two bedrooms. We used the washer and dryer to clean our clothes. The children enjoyed the theater and the community pool as well as the family. We used the outdoor fire pit one evening as well as the hot tub. The location is great. Close to Warren Dunes State Park and downtown New Buffalo. Overall, the home is great with nice bedrooms and showers. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs to go to if you want to eat out or have a family dinner in the home one evening. Also the communication with the staff of Juniper is excellent.

This is a beautiful house and a perfect location! The house is in a quiet spot but we were still able to walk to downtown each morning for coffee and to the beach. Everything in the house was perfect. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the home theater and hot tub since we had terrible weather while we were there.

This is a lovely property, great for a multigenerational family or a large group. There are separate sleeping spaces split across three floors, which gives everyone room to spread out. Everything was very clean and nicely appointed.
If you come in the summer, some of the nicest features are the large outdoor patio with a fire pit, grill, and hot tub, as well as a "community pool" that is free to use and shared by the 10 or so properties who make up the little neighborhood. We didn't realize how close the pool would be to the property - just 25 steps from the backyard - or how private. It was a really nice feature.
New Buffalo is a great starting point for exploring the area. We walked around Gallien River County Park, went to the beach, and hit the restaurants nearby. All really enjoyable for our group!

The Wolf Lodge is amazing! The floor plan is ideal for a large family group. Everyone had private space but still felt cozy in the open living/dining/kitchen. Our entire stay was fabulous. Everything was pretty close by but we were also secluded. The house was absolutely beautiful inside and out. The cleaning crew really do a wonderful job. The movie theatre room is as amazing as it looks. Every shower in the house is fabulous and you can’t beat having a hot tub. We also got to bring out dog with us which made it even better. The Moose House was awesome for our family Christmas with ages ranging from 2 to 96. The house had plenty of room and very comfy beds and bedrooms for all, including a main floor bedroom for my wife's parents in the 90's. The hot tub was great, and the Home Theater was amazing - we enjoyed movie night every night. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Christmas dinner and other meals, and all the appliances were top notch. Our dogs also enjoyed the fenced area in the back. I usually like to provide constructive suggestions in my private comments - but could not think of anything that could be improved. Thanks so much for an awesome stay!!!!

The house is comfortable, clean and cozy. It’s a perfect getaway where you can enjoy a roaring fire and just relax. Wine tasting by day, pjs by the fire at night. There is a bedroom on the first floor for those with mobility issues that do not want to climb up or down the stairs. There is a private bedroom in the basement, as well as an entire separate unit (with kitchenette) in the back on the second floor, for those that want to separate themselves from the main space. The theater room is great, instructions were easy to follow to turn everything on and off. The outdoor space looked really nice (we only used the grill; couldn't sit around b/c it was snowing). Kitchen was well-equipped in terms of appliances and utensils. Give your plates/utensils a rinse before using, though, as we found that mugs and bowls had some dirt or dust. Basic spices and such are available. Huge fridge and freezer. Fireplace was really great to use. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

Absolutely sweet inside and out. The host was super fast to respond and even came around the property a couple times to check in and to tend to the hot tub. Excellent customer service! The house is perfect. The park down the road is great! The hot tub is spectacular! Kitchen has it all. So many bathrooms and very spacious chill out areas. Everything is comfy.
One piece to be aware of:
Plan to keep your voices down because the neighbors have a low tolerance for music and group conversations. The elders in the area were not very friendly in general. Maybe they are disgruntled about this place having Air B status.

Space was very beautiful a little hard to find all The neighbours were very friendly Quick response..... Only thing is we had A lot of snow come in we had to go outside shovel the long driveway and deck

Our whole family loved spending time in this beautiful home. The theater room was a big hit. Hope to rent again. Very impressed with the home and the neighborhood was lovely and quiet.
