This place is lovely! Beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked (e.g., lots of cookware, plenty of beach towels), and even a Toto toilet in the main bathroom! The place is surrounded by greenery, making it very peaceful - and also a close drive to great beaches, restaurants, and stores. We will definitely come back!

My husband, our two young boys (5&8), and my mom stayed here for 5 nights and found the house very comfortable and well stocked. I really liked the short list of checkout items verse some of the other places we have stayed. There were some issues with the amenities but the Juniper team was quick to respond and offer a solution. I would absolutely book through Juniper again!

We very much enjoyed our stay—beautiful home/property, great amenities, and super close to both nature and all the best Sawyer has to offer. The owners were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Also, it was great to have a pack and play and other accoutrements necessary for the infant and toddler we had with us. Had a great weekend getaway at the White Owl. Got in late the first night but entry was a breeze and we walked in to some complimentary goodies—very much appreciated. The house is so close to Sawyer, Three Oaks, Union Pier, and even New Buffalo, we never lacked for something fun to do or someplace unique and gourmet to eat or order in from. On the other hand it was set back just enough from everything to feel completely relaxing and private. The house is really well kept and clean, great amenities and interior design (artful and inviting details all around). We stay in this area a few times a year and I can say from years of exploring that this place is great, and I would recommend highly for any occasion.

What a wonderful home! My girlfriends and I stayed here for the weekend and loved everything about the house--the location, the layout, the comfortable bedrooms, the electric fireplace, and the hot tub! The house is conveniently located between New Buffalo and St. Joseph, where we did some holiday shopping and dining. We took a walk along the beach in the beautiful Warren Dunes, just a few minutes away. We highly recommend this home!

The house was beautiful and clean and we were welcomed with a bottle of red wine! The beds were very comfortable and the Hot Tub was amazing. It was great to see how well the backyard was set up lots of amenities and very private. It rained the entire weekend we were there, so we didn't get to use all of it, but I would look forward to coming back in a warmer season. My only recommendation to management would be that the kitchen could benefit from some additions like tinfoil, nicer cooking utensils, or some additional seasoning. outside of the struggle to cook breakfast, everything was great! Just a note: This property is managed by a vacation rental company, so be aware they will make you sign a secondary waiver and provide a copy of your ID prior to check-in.

The White Owl was the perfect stay for the 6 of us wanting a weekend away from Chicago. The house was so warm and inviting that we barely wanted to leave the property, except for a quick beach afternoon and to get food. Having 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths was ideal for a group of 6, plus the hot tub and electric fireplace were nighttime staples. 10/10 would stay again.

Very private. The hot tub was a wonderful way to end each evening. The living room was wonderful for our family to gather. The kitchen was clean and furnished. Enjoyed a long weekend here with our teen/young adult children. Home was super clean with all amenities as described, comfy beds, plenty of extra towels. Host responded within minutes to a question about the EV charger. We enjoyed playing four square and frisbee on the school grounds, 5 minute drive to Warren Dunes or Cherry Beach, yummy dinner at Greenbush Brewing. 10/10, would highly recommend!

Our party (two families with children ranging in age from 6-11 y.o.) had a wonderful weekend at The White Owl. The home is just as pictured, with all listed amenities. There was plenty of space for our party of eight to spread out, and we loved the thoughtful features such as the beautiful fireplace, clean hot tub, and well-equipped kitchen. We didn't explore the area much, but the location was a quick drive from the highway and multiple conveniences while still providing a peaceful, serene environment. Lovely home, great communication--no complaints whatsoever! We'd absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.

We have a tradition every New Year to stay in Michigan as itÔø?s such a close drive for us from Chicago. This was, by far, our favorite place! The decor is on point, the place is clean, has the most comfortable beds, great kitchen appliances, washer and dryer too, a hookup for my electric car, a hot tub with a sound system, ample parking, and tons of space for us to really unwind. There are three adults and two children, so plenty of room. The kids had their own room; we brought a small tv for them and hooked up the PlayStation and they lived it up. The adults were able to sip on local wines, cook in a gorgeous kitchen, and enjoy the hot tub. The beds were unbelievably comfortable- and both my friend and I plan on buying the beds so we can experience that level of sleep again. Maybe though, it was the quietness and peacefulness of the house! Awesome stay!

We had an amazing time staying at Juniper’s home in Sawyer! We were a group of 7 and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy each other’s company. We would definitely stay here again! Side note which has nothing to do with the host — if you’re planning on getting around using Uber or Lyft, we were able to find only one Lyft and no Ubers. Just something to keep in mind when planning your stay! Other than that you will not be disappointed here. Not to mention the host was extremely nice and very quick to respond to all my questions/concerns.

This home was the perfect weekend escape. We were looking for a cozy winter retreat and that’s exactly what we got. Complete with outdoor hot tub and fireplace, heated floors, and comfy cozy linens and furnishings that made our weekend feel restful and restorative.
We liked the small little touches that made the Airbnb feel like a home, from the locally made cookies waiting for us at check-in to board games, a well-outfitted kitchen, and little tchotchkes throughout that added some personality. The home offered a unique layout that offered wonderful shared communal spaces as well as privacy as the home was split into wings with bedrooms and baths.
It is in a new subdivision still in development. The home butted up to a small prairie with pretty nature views. The views may change when new homes are built.
It was right in between Three Oaks and Sawyer and an easy drive to the lake or wineries. We had a lovely time and would definitely return next time we are visiting SW Michigan!

Wow, such a perfect home for a getaway! Not only is it decorated and kept beautifully, the home is fully equipped for everything you might need for a family. We’ve traveled to the New Buffalo/ Sawyer area countless times and this is the best rental we’ve ever had.

Had so much fun at this location - a beautiful home, thoughtfully curated and very cozy! The location is 5 mins from a nearby beach and very close to all the wineries/breweries in the area. We had a great week and will definitely be back - either at this location or one of the other Juniper spots!

I really appreciated the early check in and late checkout as we were traveling with elderly family who needed a bit more accommodation.
The house was fantastic and we’d stay again in a heartbeat. The photos and description are spot on. The beds were very comfortable as was all of the furniture. Beach towels were greatly appreciated.
Beautiful home and great responsiveness from the hosts. Next time, we will stay longer just to enjoy the house and the property, which is a huge complement as we come for the beach!

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Juniper. The house was well stocked and immaculately clean upon arrival. We appreciated the multiple cooking options available. A great back area to hang out at the end of the day. Great location - close to the lake, breweries, bakery, multiple fresh fruit stands, and restaurants... but tucked away for lots of privacy. We appreciated the separation of the master and other bedrooms.

It was a lovely home and in a great location. Outdoor space was nice to enjoy. Kitchen was well-stocked as well as the bathrooms. It was a quick drive to a fun playground for the kids, and to the Family Dollar for any forgotten necessities. I liked that it was only a short drive to beautiful beaches - Weko and St. Joseph Silver Beach! Kristen was very responsive with communication both before and during our stay. This place was perfect for our extended family trip. The pack and play and high chair was a huge help to this mom! The location is wonderful for visiting so many places in Harbor Country. Communication was prompt and everyone I worked with at Juniper was delightful.

What an excellent Airbnb! The house and property were ideal for our stay near Lake Michigan. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a weekend away. Our family especially appreciated that the house was well-stocked with items for families with kids, including kids utensils/plates/cups, a high chair, pack n play, and books and games for kids. So thoughtful! Great communication with host as well. Finally, such an ideal location close to the beach! Would highly recommend this property for your stay in Michigan.

Beautiful house! The hot tub was perfect and the house is only a 5 minute drive to the Warren Dunes and quick drives to both Sawyer and Three Oaks which are both charming towns!

We LOVED everything about this house and the host company. The house was immaculate, nicely appointed and stocked with all the necessities. Communications with the host were easy and without issue. The location is private but is situated between New Buffalo and St. Joseph which made it super convenient.

First of all, I’ve got to say our family had SUCH a great time on our vacation BECAUSE we had this truly wonderful place as our “home base.” Not only did it have all we needed for relaxing in style, creating tasty meals for ourselves (the kitchen is top-notch), and having super-cozy bedrooms to sleep in, but the whole house also has a stylish, elegant feel to it, while also being comfortable. For example, the gorgeous living room (with a amazing fireplace) was a perfect place for us to unwind at the end of a fun-filled day out exploring the surrounding area. Every day, we had plenty of places to check out—cool little shops galore, hiking trails and the beaches, plus I got to sample from local brew pubs and wineries that gave me a whole new respect for what the Midwest can produce! And with all the luxurious features you get for the price, I’d highly recommend this amazing vacation home to anyone!
