An absolutely perfect location for two families to have a great time enjoying the beauty of Lake Michigan.
The pool and hot tub were amazing and the space was perfect for a large group. Lots of spaces, bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone to feel like they had their own space.

We rented Juniper for a girls weekend and this home did not disappoint. The home was spacious, clean, well stocked and beautiful! The view from the home was spectacular. This home is absolutely stunning, and Juniper was a great host. As beautiful as advertised and very clean! Lots of amenities, especially for a summertime visit. Unfortunately, we ran into issues with the WiFi connection for the entire stay, which hindered our ability to fully enjoy ourselves; as most of our activities revolved around being indoors.

Host - Juniper was a fantastic host; extremely responsive so all our little questions. Even mailed us a left behind item for free! Location - was absolutely beautiful. Beautiful views of Lake Michigan (albeit they were hidden all weekend in the clouds). Home - nice home. However, noise carries very easily. I was sleeping the Master Bedroom was woken up to talking in the kitchen/family room. Also, pillows are very uncomfortable - bring your own! Value - you are paying for the view. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the view due to the rainy and cloudy weather all weekend, so was extremely overvalued for our weekend. But if you are able to enjoy the view, it is fantastic.

Looked just like the pictures, had everything we needed and for any question I had someone always answered the phone right away. Great customer service! Our 10 (ages 1-70) family members thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our five-day stay at Coastal Escape! Besides the top dollar accommodations and superb hosting, ours was a miraculous spur of the moment booking made possible when our previous booking cancelled suddenly and this host was handed an emergency cancellation by another guest. We enjoyed the pool, health spa, hot tub, fire pit and spacious decks, as well as the gorgeously accommodating house with all of its amenities. We're definitely planning to book again!

This place is very nice if you want to stay on Lake Michigan. It does need some updates done and I feel could have been cleaned a little bit better. One hallway had all the ceiling bulbs burnt out and some of the other lights were burnt out as well throughout the house.

The views are amazing. The floor plan and set up of the house were perfect for our group of 10 and would have been just as perfect if we had brought 4 more kids. The house amenities are showing some age but everything worked as advertised and the views...the views are so much better than the pictures suggest. I did have one email to the property manager go unanswered but she was very responsive to text messages once we arrived and she was very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely rent the property again!

This was a great home for our extended family group vacation. Everyone had the space they needed and we were able to enjoy all the amenities. It's easy to get to the shops and restaurants in town, but you are a little bit away so it's very peaceful and quiet. Communication with the host was easy and fast. And above all, the view is amazing!! Would definitely recommend this property!

Our favorite part of this house was the views of Lake Michigan! You can see the lake from almost anywhere in the house. We also loved the outdoor area- the pool and jacuzzi especially. Overall a great experience and a clean house.

The pictures of this place do it no justice; the views of Lake Michigan are absolutely incredible. The house is also perfect for a large group with plenty of places to sleep. The only problems that we encountered were there was only 1 propane tank full (2 grills), the hot tub was out of commission and the trash bins were already overflowing when we got there....so there was no where to put trash. The raccoons going into it one night and spread trash all over the yard. These are minor inconveniences and do not reflect the house or the trip in general. We had an amazing time and will definitely book this again in the future!

My family and I have been staying in the area for years and this by far has been our favorite house! Beautiful views and outdoor space. An added bonus was how stocked the whole home was. We took our children here and the best thing about the property is the view from the upper deck. It was gorgeous! All my friends want to know about the home because of the photos we posted on social media. We had a few issues but the property manager was very attentive and responsive.

We spent 10 days at this house in New Buffalo and had a few groups of friends join us for a couple of days during our stay. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate all our guests. The property manager, Heather, helped to arrange for extra cleaning services to change linens and clean bathrooms between groups of guest. She was very responsive by text and took care of the minor repairs that were necessary. The pool pump had been damaged during a recent power outage and it was replaced during our stay. The location on the lake and walking distance to town was perfect. Gorgeous sunsets, relaxing by the pool and hot tub, and gathering on the covered porch was enjoyed by all. There were lots of towels for use by the pool. Two large grills made cooking easy and we ate all our dinners on the upstairs deck. We also enjoyed gathering at the outdoor fire pit and making S'mores. You really are paying a premium for the location and outdoor space. The house itself is spacious and generally well equipped. The extra refrigerator in the garage was very handy for storing all our beverages. There were plenty of dishes and glassware, silverware, pots and pans and utensils. Some of the cabinets were not particularly clean and we had to buy a brush and sponge in order to wash dishes at the sink. We also chose to purchase a coffee maker because the house only had a Keurig. In the main bathroom there was no towel rack or hooks for drying a bath towel or having a towel available after a shower. The furniture in the main area is adequate and there was a big selection of games and books. The TV setup was confusing and there were no instructions on how we could access movies or premium cable shows. Despite the minor complaints we really enjoyed our visit to New Buffalo. It was a nice place to relax and the house worked well for us.

The pool and hot tub overlooking the lake expanse was a huge hit -- heated to perfection with plenty of comfortable, well-maintained seating in both the sun and shade. The fire pit, upper deck and grill got plenty of use in the late afternoon/evening, again with lots of seating & tables. Every room and outdoor space capitalizes on the beautiful lake views. There was a huge storm and power outage (for 40 hours!) and despite that inconvenience we all loved our stay. It helped enormously that the Heather was so attentive! Without hesitation, she brought a lantern and hauled extra propane tanks for the grills, appeared instantly when we had trouble with the pool cover. She was available and responsive both before and during our trip and is hands down the very best property manager we have experienced through the years. Just so I don't sound too pollyanna-ish, a constructive criticism would be to update the Jack and Jill bathroom and organize the kitchenwares as well as the glassware is organized for easy use. The master update was greatly appreciated! Quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors, and a quick walk to town and the public beach. Our tally is all 8 votes to return next year!

Heather, the property manager, was great. Easy to contact and quick to respond. I would definitely consider another stay here. One downside (if you plan on having multiple families): The driveway is very short, and you cannot park on the street, so fitting more than 3 vehicles would be difficult, especially if the three are crossover or suv/trucks.

This property is a great place to get out of the city for a few days and relax with friends and family. We arrived on Thursday evening/Friday morning, and the house was completely ready to go (hot tub, pool, towels, etc), as promised. Heather and I exchanged notes a few times prior to our arrival, and she was very responsive to everything we needed during our stay. The house is great, but the view over the lake is the big attraction. Heated pool and hot tub were a great way to unwind and enjoy, while the multiple fire pit options offered other options when it got cold at night. A short walk to downtown provided plenty to do during the day, and a quiet neighborhood at night with privacy on the property. Would recommend to anyone looking for a larger place to host a get-together - looking forward to visiting again!

Our group had an amazing weekend. When we left we were talking about when we were going to plan a weekend to the house again! There was plenty of room to spread out and plenty of bathrooms for all of the girls. One of my girlfriends was asked if we were in Greece from her instagram picture :). Thank you Heather!

This property is a great place to get out of the city for a few days and relax with friends and family. We arrived on Thursday evening/Friday morning, and the house was completely ready to go (hot tub, pool, towels, etc), as promised. Heather and I exchanged notes a few times prior to our arrival, and she was very responsive to everything we needed during our stay. The house is great, but the view over the lake is the big attraction. Heated pool and hot tub were a great way to unwind and enjoy, while the multiple fire pit options offered other options when it got cold at night. A short walk to downtown provided plenty to do during the day, and a quiet neighborhood at night with privacy on the property. Would recommend to anyone looking for a larger place to host a get-together - looking forward to visiting again!

Wonderful views and plenty of space to socially distance. Great place for family groups with children, even though we didn't require that. Due to Pandemic, we spent most of our time at the property and it was well equipped for cooking and relaxing Pool, hot tub, fire pit were great

This is our second year renting this house and it did not disappoint! The pool, hot tub, and views were just as amazing as last year. What stood out more to me this time was how well equipped the house was. Since we were not going out for meals or out in general as much this year due to covid, it was so nice to have what we would need in the kitchen to prepare and cook almost all our meals. The setup of the bedrooms and bathrooms was also ideal for our family. My babies could nap in the super quiet bedrooms while we enjoyed the pool just feet away! We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to stay again!

This home is extraordinarily well equipped to host large families and groups and has the added benefit of being right on the lakefront. The sunsets are amazing and the pool and the hot tub are great luxuries too.

My family and I had such a wonderful week at this house! The panoramic views are breathtaking and can be seen from each floor, every bedroom, and obviously and most spectacularly from outside. The pool and the hot tub (overlooking the lake) were our favorite parts of the property and used daily by kids and adults alike! They were also easy to open, close, maintain, etc... The firepit was another favorite. We had a bonfire just about every night. The house was very well stocked (kitchen appliances, towels, furniture, etc...). It provided two really nice hang out areas upstairs and downstairs along with nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Two of the three showers could use some updating (not a lot of water pressure), but that was not a big deal. The check-out time being at 10 am seemed a bit early as well when factoring in the time it takes to strip all the beds, gather all the towels, do any left over dishes, clean up the fire pit, empty all the trash, etc..., but I'm pretty sure 10 am is the standard check out time for all rentals in the area. The house's proximity to downtown New Buffalo is ideal. It's close enough to walk, but not RIGHT in the downtown area, providing some privacy. Yet, all the restaurants, bars, grocery store, etc... were easily accessible. Overall, we had such an amazing week making memories and would LOVE to stay in this house again in the future.

This was a very nice home right on the water that fit our party of 15 very comfortably. Within walking distance of restaurants and bars.
