THE SPACE
This vacation loft’s phenomenal natural lighting in the shared social space comes from the amazing “wall of windows” and open design, with the upscale living room sitting adjacent to a fantastic kitchen. You’ll have a number of seating and eating options, as there are two wraparound stone countertops in the kitchen with seating at both. Plus, since the living room’s furniture and accessories are gorgeous, you can eat in style while watching a favorite movie or show!

Each of the 3 bedrooms is beautifully appointed with stylish décor and high-quality bedding and linens to ensure a sound sleep.

Located along what has become known as the “Art Coast of Michigan,” the oh-so-charming town of Douglas offers you not only the stunning shoreline of Lake Michigan - with a backdrop of magnificent natural beauty - but also an art-lover’s paradise, rich with culture and yes, creature comforts, great restaurants and vacation-oriented amenities galore! Whether you and your guests are seeking relaxation, adventure, a dive into the arts or amazing culinary delights, this charming town has something for everyone.

At nearby Douglas Beach, you can take a leisurely stroll along the pristine shores of Lake Michigan or simply enjoy some R-and-R beneath an umbrella while lying on a beach blanket. Or head over to neighboring Oval Beach (in Saugatuck), which was ranked “One of the Top 25 Beaches in the World” by Conde Nast Travelers magazine!

As for the arts, just a few of the most popular stops for local and national artworks are the Water Street Gallery, LaFontsee Galleries, Button Gallery, Mr. Miller's Art Emporium, LebenArt Gallery and J. If you’re looking for some outdoor fun, check out the nearby Saugatuck Dune Rides, where you’ll not only explore the dunes, one of Michigan’s true natural treasures, but also experience a unique dose of entertainment, fun and excitement! We’d like to point out Saugatuck, which has its own rich array of culture and night life, is just 2 miles from the loft! Back to the subject of outdoor enjoyment, at Third Coast Paddling, you can rent canoes, kayaks or paddleboards to spend some wonderful time out on the water. There are also a number of options in Douglas for those who’d like to sail, both private sailing excursions and sailboat charters. As for food and drink, the local area has got you covered, with many superb eateries, neighborhood brew pubs, brewing companies and wineries, and cozy coffee-houses. In fact, this gorgeous loft is above a fav local spot, the Wild Dog Grill.
