THE SPACE
The calendar is open for summer 2024! The entire home is currently being elevated by the renowned designer David Lentz of David Lentz Design Chicago.

When describing the many socializing areas in this amazing home, the question is where to start? The main level has a spacious, beautifully appointed living room with lots of comfortable seating choices and French doors opening out onto an inviting wraparound balcony – more about that below. And did we already say there are magnificent views of Lake Michigan from this property? Well, it can’t be overstated! The living room has them, as does the Chef’s Kitchen and breakfast nook, where snacks or delicious meals can be enjoyed while looking out onto the grand vistas the lake offers you and your guests. It should come as no surprise that all the kitchen appliances are top-of-the-line – plus the gas range is in the center of a captivating marble-top island – and we’ve made sure you have all the essentials you need to cook to your heart’s content. And when you wish to gather all your guests together for a meal, the formal dining room provides a superb setting, both graceful and intimate.

The lower level has a large family room for relaxing - with its own sound system, pantry cabinets, sink and countertop space - plus a home gym with space for yoga and a state-of-the-art home theater with 12 posh movie-style seats and a huge screen for viewing your favorite movies or shows in style! On the upstairs levels, there are 4 bedrooms, a laundry room, and a simple, yet magical sitting room where you can share a glass of vino while gazing at the outstanding views of the Lake Michigan shoreline.

The Master bathroom is beautiful in design and feel, with all the bells and whistles one could imagine – including a spacious walk-in shower with zero edge entry. However, in each and every bathroom of this exceptional vacation home – some of which have walk-in tile showers, while others have glass-enclosed shower tubs – all the fixtures and décor are of premium quality to add luxurious richness to you and your guests’ experience. There’s also a second fully equipped laundry room with a high-end washer and dryer on the lower level

It’s not just the interior that has amenities in plentiful supply here. Outside, you have an infinity pool surrounded by a large deck and patio from which you’ll be treated to even more of the fantastic views of Lake Michigan – not to mention the fabulous stretch of beach you have private access to. There’s also a comfortable wraparound deck off the main floor, for when you want to grab a snack and a drink and just chill. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, as well as a nice patio dining set for sharing a meal outdoors. And don’t forget to kick back around the fire-pit and watch the evening sky light up with stars!

Union Pier is about 75 miles from Chicago and just a few miles from New Buffalo, Michigan. There are a number of great restaurants, coffee shops and breakfast spots nearby, plus a local farmers market each weekend in the summer. The roads are all very quiet and perfect for a relaxing walk while enjoying your morning coffee, and there are plenty of fun activities to check out – if you find yourself wanting a change of pace from the luxury lakefront lifestyle – during your vacation, including:

While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

Pets are not allowed at this property.
