Held at the Big Mountain Nordic Trails and Glacier Nordic Center at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course, the Glacier Glide is a spirited Nordic ski event with classic and skate races in distances like 1km, 3.5km, and 10km. There’s also a 1km youth freestyle and a cookie scramble for kids. Racers and spectators enjoy a chili and mac & cheese lunch after the finish.

January 24th at 8 am & January 25th at 5pm
Catch the action as talented young racers compete at Whitefish Mountain Resort in this USSA sanctioned alpine ski competition.

January 31st 7:30 am
This mountain challenge invites skiers and riders to ascend and descend Big Mountain in a thrilling alpine race format. Test your endurance or cheer on competitors.

The beloved Whitefish Winter Carnival kicks off the month with community joy, featuring a Penguin Plunge into Whitefish Lake, snow sculptures, a grand parade, art expos, pancake breakfasts, and more. It is a great way to embrace winter with friends or family.
