THE SPACE
From the moment you set foot inside Lakeshore Haven, you see and feel the lavish surroundings in which you and your guests will be spending your time R-and-R’ing in a true dream vacation home. The elegant Spanish-tiled entryway invites you to step into a Great Room fit for royalty—with magnificent lake views through wide windows and glass doors, plenty of plush seating and rich furnishings—with “side rooms” featuring similarly spectacular views, via wraparound windows, vaulted ceilings and ample space to mingle, have a glass of wine and just soak in the beauty before you.

The main living room area has a lovely fireplace, as does one of the adjacent side rooms. The Gourmet Kitchen features a deluxe chef’s stove, twin sinks, dual refrigerators and dishwashers, a walk-in freezer, and all the essentials for preparing delicious meals. You’ll find its stone-top island and breakfast nook are great spots to chat over coffee or snacks. And Lakeshore Haven’ formal dining room comes with a cheery fireplace, when you and your guests are gathering together for a meal. There are also two separate home offices, both quite impressive and well-equipped, one with its own fireplace. For cozy entertainment, there’s a “theater room” with lush seating, a large flat-screen TV and fireplace. Plus, another large room is set up for more TV-movie-viewing with its own fireplace. And did we mention there’s a thoroughly rejuvenating sauna room? Enjoy!

There are 6 bathrooms at Lakeshore Haven, each with rich, distinctive styling. All feature top-of-the-line fixtures and stylish décor, as well as high-end double or single vanities. Most have stone-tile walk-in showers, one has a soaking tub and shower and another has a handsome clawfoot tub. And the huge Master bathroom is truly amazing, with marble tile everywhere, a large Jacuzzi tub, and a super-spacious walk-in closet/dressing area.

Lakeshore Haven also has a spacious, fully equipped laundry room with two sets of high-quality washer-dryers for your and your guests’ use.

The outdoors is indeed “great” at Lakeshore Haven - from taking in the breathtaking vistas of the Lake Michigan shoreline while looking off the marvelous deck facing it – and there’s a sweet back deck with a superb barbecue grill to enjoy, as well - to the wonderful hiking trails on the property, your eyes will feast on all the natural beauty surrounding you.

And if it’s “outdoor activity” you’re looking for, we’ve got you covered! Take a dip in the heated pool or play some tennis at the tennis court or hoop at the basketball court. Fancy another option? Take a walk on down to the private beach and take a swim in Lake Michigan’s fabled waters or just lie in the sun to your heart’s content.

Since Lakeshore Haven is located just a stone’s throw from the charming lakeside resort town of South Haven, you’re close to a wide variety of great restaurants, watering holes, nightlife spots, shops, boutiques and distinguished galleries for you and your guests to explore and enjoy. And even though your fabulous vacation rental has its own private beach right on the shoreline, you may want to venture out to either South Haven’s popular North Beach or South Beach destinations, famous for their long stretches of crystal white sand and glorious views of Lake Michigan. If it’s hiking or biking trails you’re looking for, there are over 40 established trails covering 500-plus miles in the area, through rich forests and wetlands. By the way, the region is also renowned for being a birdwatcher’s paradise. Local farms, vineyards and wineries offer tours to see and sample the products they grow to supply many of the local fine restaurants and cafes, craft brew pubs, wine shops and cocktail bars. Plus, there’s plenty of water-related activities to sample - including boat, kayak and canoe rentals, day and evening cruises, fishing charter expeditions and more – in nearby South Haven.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Lakeshore Haven has a 7-day minimum stay requirement during the summer months.

To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to participate in a guest prescreening. All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

Pets are not allowed at this home.

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
